Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026 · Applies to app.nullcorp.eu and every tool hosted under it
1. Essential (always on)
Required for the platform to function. These cannot be disabled because doing so would break sign-in.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
null_session_token | Local storage | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
null_current_user | Local storage | Caches your basic profile for the UI | Until sign-out |
null_accounts | Local storage | Supports switching between multiple signed-in accounts | Until removed |
| PHPSESSID | Session cookie | Set only during the Overlay Maker social-account OAuth popup flow, to protect against CSRF | Browser session |
| Cloudflare Turnstile cookie | Cookie | Bot-protection challenge during registration | Short-lived (set by Cloudflare) |
Timekeeping entries (tk_* keys) | Local storage | This is the actual time-tracking data you enter into the tool — not a tracking or convenience mechanism, it's the core content the tool exists to store, the same way an account's data isn't a "cookie." Always on for that reason. | Until cleared |
null_apps_<userId> | Local storage | Records which apps you've unlocked/added to your workspace via a redeemed code — an entitlement record, not a tracking preference | Until removed |
null_feature_<id> | Local storage | Records a feature unlocked via a redeemed code — an entitlement, same reasoning as above | Until removed |
null_admin_key | Local storage | Admin panel access grant, set only after redeeming an admin code | Until removed |
2. Functional
Remember preferences so the app behaves the way you left it. Reject or disable these and the site still works — it just stops reading and writing these specific preferences while they're off. Anything saved from before isn't deleted, but won't be used again until you turn this back on.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
null_app_variant_<appId> | Local storage | Remembers whether you last opened an app's Main or Beta version | Until changed |
null_notif_read_* / null_notif_deleted_* | Local storage | Tracks which notifications you've already seen/dismissed | Until cleared |
null_esports_active_team | Local storage | Remembers which team you last had selected in the eSports Dashboard | Until changed |
tk_tutorial_done | Local storage | Remembers whether you've dismissed the Timekeeping onboarding tutorial (beta) | Until changed |
Explicit per-feature choices: a few features ask you directly, in the moment, whether to remember your choice — for example, a "Don't show this again" checkbox on a "what's new" popup. Checking that box is its own specific, explicit consent for that one item, so it's saved regardless of your Functional preference above (and if you leave it unchecked, nothing is saved).
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
null_site_version_seen | Local storage | Saved only if you check "Don't show this again" on the main site's "what's new" changelog popup | Until changed |
null_predictions_version_seen | Local storage | Saved only if you check "Don't show this again" on NULL Predictions' own "what's new" changelog popup | Until changed |
3. Analytics
Not currently used. NULL TOOLS runs no analytics or usage-tracking scripts today. The toggle exists in the cookie preferences panel so that if privacy-respecting analytics are introduced later, we can honor a preference you've already set rather than re-prompting you. No data is collected under this category at this time.
4. Marketing
Not currently used and not planned. No advertising or marketing cookies/pixels run anywhere on this platform.
5. Third-party cookies
The Overlay Maker OAuth flow and Cloudflare Turnstile bot-check are the only points where a third party may set its own cookie in your browser, and only when you actively use those specific features (connecting a social account, or registering an account). See our Privacy Policy for the full list of third parties.
6. Managing your consent
You chose your cookie preferences the first time you visited. You can change your mind at any time:
- Click "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page.
- Choose Accept All, Reject All, or toggle individual categories, then save.
- Your choice is stored locally and respected immediately — non-essential categories only activate after you allow them.
